Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Agent to lead and oversee construction or infrastructure projects on-site. As a vital link between project management and on-the-ground teams, you will ensure that all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. Your leadership will drive the successful completion of projects, maintaining high standards of quality and safety while managing day-to-day site operations.
Duties
- Coordinate and supervise daily site activities, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and specifications
- Manage on-site teams, including subcontractors and laborers, providing clear direction and supervision
- Utilize Primavera P6 project management software to plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines and resources
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to uphold health and safety standards
- Liaise with project managers, clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues promptly
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment needed for construction activities
- Maintain detailed records of site progress, incidents, inspections, and compliance documentation
Skills
- Strong management skills with proven experience supervising construction or infrastructure sites
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling tools to effectively plan and track project milestones
- Excellent leadership abilities to motivate teams, delegate tasks, and ensure high performance
- In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in record keeping and reporting
- Ability to communicate clearly with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving on-site challenges
