Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic fresh Graduate Civil Engineer or Graduate Engineer with experience looking to step up to Design Engineer (0-2 years experience) to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from flood risk assessment to infrastructure, SuDS and highways design, flood alleviation schemes and public realm design, and to develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As a young business, you will be joining us in the early stages of our journey. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all areas of the business, from design to business development, strategy and marketing, helping to shape the future of the company while developing your technical skills and embracing your entrepreneurial spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering, flood risk and urban design projects.
· Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and assess project requirements.
· Prepare technical reports, such as flood risk assessments and drainage strategies, drawings, and specifications.
· Collaborate with the team to develop practical and innovative solutions.
· Support a wide variety of clients with projects from inception through to construction.
· Design and model SuDS, drainage and highways in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications & attributes:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· A proactive, hands-on attitude and a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
· Proficiency in relevant engineering software is advantageous but not required.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
· A keen interest in environmental sustainability, flood risk management and urban design.
· A graduate member of ICE or CIWEM.

Pay: Competitive dependent on experience.
Location: Primarily based at our St Katherine Docks London studio, with one day per week working from home.
