We are looking for a skilled and proactive Facilities & Maintenance Electrician to support the upkeep, safety and continuous improvement of our buildings, infrastructure and site facilities.
This is a varied role combining electrical maintenance with general facilities support, ensuring our sites remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently. You'll work on everything from manufacturing facilities and building services to solar generation, EV charging infrastructure and site improvement projects. No two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across site facilities and building services.
- Install, maintain and test electrical systems, lighting, power distribution and small electrical works.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
- Support building maintenance activities, including minor repairs and improvements.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when required.
- Assist with facilities projects, refurbishments and site improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Support health, safety and environmental compliance across all sites.
- Participate in the emergency response arrangements where required.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Recognised electrical qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
- City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Inspection and Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
- Experience carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding.
- Knowledge of electrical testing and inspection procedures.
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services.
- Experience within a facilities, commercial, industrial or multi-site environment.
- Knowledge of building services, fire alarms, emergency lighting and security systems.
- IPAF, PASMA or other relevant maintenance qualifications.
