BEAUTY THERAPIST
Location: Cedars Salon, Gloucester City Centre
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, Permanent
Salary: £12.77 - £13.50 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications

Cedars Salon is looking for an enthusiastic, professional and passionate Beauty Therapist to join our friendly and established salon team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist looking to develop their career within a busy salon environment, working with an existing client base and offering a wide range of beauty and advanced aesthetic treatments.
We are particularly interested in therapists who can confidently deliver high-quality treatments whilst providing exceptional customer service and helping to build long-term client relationships.

Essential Skills
We are particularly interested in therapists who are confident in:
- Intimate waxing
- Warm and hot waxing
- Massage treatments
- Shellac/Gel nails
- Manicures and pedicures
- Facials and skincare treatments
- Brow and lash treatments
Additional Skills (Desirable)
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Laser hair removal
- IPL treatments
- Radio frequency skin tightening
- CACI facial treatments
- Advanced skincare treatments
Training can be provided in advanced treatments for the right candidate.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Delivering high-quality beauty treatments
- Promoting and selling treatments and retail products
- Managing client consultations and aftercare advice
- Answering telephone and booking enquiries
- Assisting with appointment management and diary optimisation
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the salon
- Supporting promotional activities and salon events
- Ensuring treatment rooms are prepared and stocked appropriately
- Providing exceptional customer service and client care
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy minimum (Level 3 preferred)
- Previous salon experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional and friendly approach
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Passion for the beauty industry and ongoing professional development
