Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Coffee Shop Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a background in food and beverage service. Duties
- Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Manage and supervise staff, including baristas, kitchen assistants, and front-of-house team members.
- Coordinate food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
- Lead the preparation of beverages, including specialised coffee drinks, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance.
- Maintain stock levels, place orders for supplies, and manage inventory efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all areas of the shop.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Implement training programmes to develop team skills in food production, serving, and hospitality.
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising or managing a food or beverage establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Experience with restaurant or café operations, including food production and kitchen management.
- Barista experience is highly desirable, with familiarity in preparing speciality coffees.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Exceptional organisational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers alike.
- Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and motivate teams to perform at their best.
