About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team at KKDC Aylesbury. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone passionate about early years education and eager to develop their skills while making a real difference in children’s lives.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities that support children’s learning and development
- Support daily routines such as meals, hygiene, and rest
- Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to assessments
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating nursery environment
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop your skills
- Support peers and demonstrate leadership qualities when appropriate
What We’re Looking For
- Genuine interest in childcare and early years education
- Previous nursery or childcare experience (preferred)
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Organised, responsible, and eager to learn
- Friendly, patient, and caring approach
Requirements
- Education: None required; willingness to learn and complete apprenticeship
- Experience: Previous childcare experience preferred, but not essential
