We are looking for an experienced chef to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across our units and out at events.
Mr Croquewich is an established independent street food company. We have two permanent kitchens at Goodsheds in Barry, a prep Kitchen and shipping container unit at The Bridge Studios in Cardiff, our bar Kegbelly in Whitchurch and summer pop-up Kegbelly Penarth, a unit in Cardiff City Stadium and a busy calendar of events throughout the year.
We have an established and experienced team and would welcome the right person. We pride ourselves on looking after our team to make sure everyone feels valued and that work is enjoyable.
We have high standards in our 5* kitchens and take huge pride in what we do. We are looking for someone who cares about ensuring the top quality of dishes leaving the kitchen and who can uphold these standards with us. You will be expected to work well under pressure in a fast- paced environment – it can be very busy at times!
Your role would include pre-service prep, cooking and building our Parmesan fried chicken burgers & hot dogs, plating dishes, building & cooking our grilled cheese sandwiches along with other dishes, running the pass, general kitchen duties, chicken checks and filling out kitchen paperwork.
You must be able to lead a team of 2/3 people through service as well as work well on your own.

Kitchen experience is essential for this role and additional training will be provided. You will need to have a good work ethic and a positive attitude.
You must be able to work evenings and weekends. We are open to discussion on weekly hours.

You must have your own transport for this role.
