Job Advert – Labourer / Handyman (Construction)
Location: Greater London
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Handyman to join our construction team and provide support to our skilled tradesmen on various projects.
The successful candidate will assist with general construction duties, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and be able to work efficiently both as part of a team and independently.
Duties will include:
- Assisting tradesmen with daily construction tasks
- Preparing materials and helping with site setup
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy throughout the day and after completion of works
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials safely
- Using basic hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
- Following all health & safety procedures and site rules
- Supporting general maintenance, repairs, and handyman tasks
- Working independently when required and using initiative to complete tasks
Requirements:
- Previous construction labouring or handyman experience preferred
- Good knowledge of basic construction tools and their safe use
- Good understanding of site safety and working practices
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to work well within a team
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
- CSCS card preferred but not essential (depending on experience)
