Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our team at The Glen Mhor Hotel in Inverness. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive warm and professional service from check-in to check-out. Your contribution will help create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our hotel's commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and activities.
- Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold high standards of customer service.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle phone calls with courtesy and professionalism.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel reception or customer service roles.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of reservation systems is preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
