Owner Driver / Self-Employed Delivery Driver – APC Parcels
Location: York (YO Postcodes)
Job Type: Self-Employed / Owner Driver
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:00am – Finish
Earnings: To be agreed - Day or drop rates are dependent on the route allocated and the number of deliveries and collections completed.

YDL is seeking reliable and professional Owner Drivers to support our APC parcel delivery operation.
Successful applicants will be responsible for completing parcel deliveries and collections across designated routes within the YO areas. Routes are established and planned to maximise efficiency and service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect parcels safely and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery and collection points
- Complete daily route schedules within agreed timeframes
- Ensure all parcels are scanned and handled correctly
- Maintain compliance with all road traffic and transport regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain a roadworthy vehicle
Route Information
- YO routes available
- Approximately 50–100 deliveries per day, depending on the route
- Daily collections also required
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Start time: 06:00am
To be considered, applicants must:
- Own or have access to a suitable delivery vehicle (Long wheel-based van)
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
- Have Goods in Transit Insurance
- Have Hire and Reward Insurance
- Be registered as a Limited Company
- Be reliable, organised and customer-focused
- Have previous multi-drop delivery experience (preferred)
- Agree to a Service level agreement on performance.
