About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily lives, ensuring they receive person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting residents with daily living activities and personal care needs
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and mealtime support
- Promoting residents' independence, choice, privacy, and dignity at all times
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Contributing to care planning and review discussions
- Participating in the keyworker system
- Accompanying residents to appointments, hospital visits, outings, and shopping trips where required
- Reporting concerns, incidents, or changes in residents' wellbeing promptly
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
- Attending training sessions and team meetings to support professional development
About You
We are looking for individuals who:
- Are caring, compassionate, and reliable
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Can work flexibly, including alternate weekends
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
