About the Role
An SEN school in Cheshire is looking for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join their growing in-house therapy team.
The school is bringing its therapy provision in-house to provide greater stability, consistency and reliability for the children and young people they support. They are looking for someone who wants to become a long-term member of the school community.
This opportunity is open to clinicians with at least 2 years' experience, with previous experience in an SEN or specialist setting.
Experience supporting children and young people with the following would be particularly relevant:
- Autism / ASC
- ADHD
- SEMH
- Learning disabilities
- Complex needs
- Communication and language needs
- Sensory needs
- aged 7 - 16
Experience can be with primary, secondary or college-aged learners.
The Therapy Team
You’ll be joining an established multidisciplinary team, including:
- Occupational Therapist
- Clinical Lead
- Art Therapist
The school is committed to building a stable, collaborative in-house therapy team that works closely with teaching staff to provide consistent support for pupils.
About You
- Qualified Speech & Language Therapist
- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Experience working within an SEN, specialist education or similar setting
- Experience supporting children/young people with autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning disabilities or complex needs
- HCPC registered
- Looking for a long-term position
- Available full-time or for a minimum of 3 days per week
