We are an exciting new small independent pub opening mid July focused on serving quality local ales alongside modern British pub food. Our aim is to create a welcoming, community-driven environment with a high standard of service and a fresh, contemporary feel.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Pub Supervisor to join the opening team. This is a hands-on role, supporting the day-to-day running of the pub along with the owner and help lead the team from the front.
You will play a key role in ensuring excellent service standards, smooth operations, and a positive team environment. This is a great opportunity to be part of something from the ground up, with genuine room for progression as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Cellar Management and Cask ale conditioning
- Leading by example to provide friendly, attentive service to all customers
- Supervising bar and floor service to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Pouring and serving a range of local ales, beers, wines, and spirits
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
- Opening/closing procedures, and cash handling
- Maintaining a clean, organised bar and service area
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene, presentation, and compliance at all times
