Join our growing team as a Contractor Update Administrator!
Are you organised, reliable and confident communicating with people? Do you have a good eye for detail and enjoy keeping things on track?
We're excited to introduce this newly created role, designed to support our growing team and have three positions available on a fixed-term contract until 30 September 2027.
You'll play an important role in supporting our Locality teams by keeping track of outstanding contractor jobs, ensuring regular updates are received and escalating any delays or risks where necessary.

Some things you'll be doing:

Proactively contact contractors via phone and email to obtain updates on assignment progress, availability, onboarding, and completion.

Use spreadsheets and internal systems to track contractor progress, outstanding actions, documentation, timesheets, compliance requirements, and key deadlines.

Coordinate with contractors, hiring managers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.

Follow up on contract extensions, renewals, and end-of-assignment requirements, escalating delays or risks where necessary.

Maintain accurate records and prepare regular status updates and progress reports for relevant stakeholders.
Some things we need from you

NVQ in Business Administration or relevant administrative experience.

Demonstrable experience in administration within a busy office environment, including data input, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with customers.

A motivated and well-organised approach, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.

High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage information effectively.

A customer-focused approach with strong communication skills and confidence communicating with customers via phone and email.
Working arrangements:
While this role is home-based, you'll be required to travel to and work from our Worcester or Solihull office on a weekly basis. Ideally, you'll therefore live within a reasonable commutable distance of these locations.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
