Parks Area Supervisor - North
Full Time: 37 hours a week, Permanent
A fantastic career development opportunity is available to join Bristol City Council’s Parks Service in the North area of the city in the role of Grounds Supervisor.
You will support the delivery of daily operations for the Parks Service in the North of the city managing a team of gardeners and waste operatives.
You will ensure service standards for grounds maintenance, including parks, housing land and highways are achieved.
You will work to improve access and enjoyment to spaces for local residents and visitors to the city as well as responding to customer and councillor enquiries.
You will line manage a team of staff ensuring their wellbeing and that they work to technical specifications, health and safety policies and performance policies.
This is a rare opportunity to play a leading role and be part of a very dedicated team in one of the most important and visible services the Council offers to Bristol residents.
