Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled General Builder to join Bespoke Home Builds LTD. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of building tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, where we mainly build extensions and refurbishments to residential properties.
PAY DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks including 1st and 2nd fix, insulating and plasterboarding and other finishing work with precision and attention to detail
- Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, concrete finishing and steelwork
- Complete groundwork and drainage works to domestic properties
- Use hand tools, power tools efficiently to complete various construction tasks
- Fabricate custom components or modifications as required for specific projects
- Maintain a clean, organized worksite while adhering to health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in general building trades with a strong background in carpentry, masonry, groundworks and related fields
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems and steelworks is highly desirable
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for construction work
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges on-site
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods
- Valid certifications or licenses relevant to construction trades (preferred but not mandatory)
