Job Summary
We’re looking for a creative and organised Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help bring Black Square Print Media’s brand to life. This part‑time, office‑based role is all about capturing real content from the shop floor, running our existing social media channels, and supporting our wider marketing activity across email, Google and printed campaigns.
You’ll help us stay visible, consistent and connected - turning day‑to‑day moments, customer projects and campaign ideas into engaging content that reflects who we are. If you enjoy being hands‑on, practical and creative, this is a role where you can make a genuine impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Run and optimise our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) with regular, engaging posts, stories and short videos.
- Capture content - customer projects, behind‑the‑scenes moments, new products and updates.
- Develop ideas that promote our services, brand and day‑to‑day work in a genuine, approachable way.
- Monitor comments, messages and enquiries; respond professionally and help track leads coming in through social media.
- Maintain a simple system for recording enquiries and ensuring follow‑ups are completed.
- Create and schedule content for email marketing and support wider digital activity, including Google campaigns.
- Assist in planning and delivering paid campaigns across social media and Google, ensuring they align with our brand and goals.
- Help produce and coordinate printed marketing materials for local promotions and campaigns.
- Work with the team to highlight projects, company news and customer stories.
- Keep an eye on performance metrics and suggest practical ways to improve reach, engagement and visibility.
- Stay aware of new trends, tools and ideas in digital marketing that could benefit the business.
Requirements
- Experience in print, display, signage or workwear industry is useful but not essential
- Experience running social media accounts for a business or brand.
- A solid understanding of Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, and how to get the best out of each.
- Confidence in setting up and managing paid campaigns, including Google Ads.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to create content that feels genuine, clear and tailored to different audiences.
- Comfortable creating engaging posts, images and short videos.
- Organised, with the ability to keep track of enquiries, leads and follow‑ups.
- Creative, proactive and reliable - someone who enjoys taking ownership and bringing ideas to life.
- Great communication skills and a friendly, approachable style.
This is an office based role.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
