As a Warehouse / Stores Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and unloading deliveries
- Checking goods against delivery documentation and reporting discrepancies
- Storing materials safely and maintaining organised stock locations
- Carrying out stock checks and supporting inventory accuracy
- Operating warehouse equipment, including pump trucks and forklifts (where licensed)
- Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Following all Health & Safety policies and procedures
We're seeking someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Is comfortable with manual handling duties
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Is willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
Desirable (but Not Essential)
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, manufacturing, or logistics environment
- Basic IT skills and experience using inventory systems or barcode scanners
- Forklift Truck (Counterbalance and/or Reach) licence
