We are looking for a Clinical Admin Officer to join the Medicine team at Frimley Park Hospital. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) and offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with Consultants and their multidisciplinary teams.
The role would suit an experienced administrator with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment. We're looking for someone who is adaptable, proactive, and committed to delivering a high standard of support.
As a Clinical Admin Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to Consultants and junior medical staff, ensuring patient records, correspondence and clinical documentation are processed accurately and in line with Trust policies and standards.
Provide clinical administrative support to the Consultants and their junior medical staff, ensuring that Trust standards are adhered to in relation to all documentation and data input concerning patients and treatment.
Provide an administrative service to the Department.
Plan and organise own work schedule with the use of appropriate planning aids, demonstrating good time management and ensure anticipated difficulties in meeting deadlines are promptly reported.
Deal with Consultants requests for actioning urgent correspondence, medico-legal reports and any other appropriate ad hoc correspondence requested in line with the Trusts policies and procedures.
Obtain and organise information in support of own work activities, maintain confidentiality in accordance with organisation procedures.
Answer queries from colleagues, GP’s and patients in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure that secure systems are in place for the storage of all resources including computerised information.
Promptly open incoming mail, linking to relevant medical records and distributing post to consultants where necessary.
Scanning and uploading relevant patient medical documents into the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record system.
