Job Overview:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations for both Flova UK and Imex Ceramics UK at the Hailsham Depot. This includes managing the warehouse team, ensuring health and safety protocols are strictly followed, maintaining stock control, and driving efficiency in picking and packing operations. The role requires a proactive approach to cost-saving measures and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) while upholding the highest standards of warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, despatching, and returns inspection.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows to maximise productivity and minimise errors.
- Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs while maintaining service quality.
- Manage budgets effectively and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Oversee accurate stock management, including regular counts and audits.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain stock integrity.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster a safety-first culture by training staff on best practices and addressing any hazards promptly.
- Manage, motivate, and develop a team of five warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
- Create a positive and collaborative team environment to ensure high levels of engagement and performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing warehouse operations or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, despatching, and returns processes.
- Experience in leading and motivating a small team.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Competency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.

Working Hours & Reporting:
- 08:00 – 17:30, Monday – Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.
- A very flexible approach to these hours is required to ensure all tasks and projects are completed.
- The Warehouse Manager reports to the Operations Director.
