Chefs Bay is a hospitality recruitment agency specialising in the supply of temporary staff, predominantly across Back of House, including chefs and kitchen staff, alongside some Front of House recruitment.
We are looking for a confident, driven and organised Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team.
The Role
You will help manage a busy temporary recruitment desk, building strong relationships with both clients and candidates while ensuring staffing requirements are filled quickly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing, screening and onboarding temporary hospitality staff.
- Managing temporary bookings and matching suitable candidates to shifts.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates and clients.
- Managing candidate compliance and availability.
- Dealing with last-minute bookings, cancellations and staffing changes.
- Carrying out staff/event check-ins when required.
- Maintaining accurate information on our recruitment systems.
- Working towards individual and company targets and KPIs.
- Identifying opportunities to grow business with new and existing clients.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Comes from a results or target-driven background.
- Is confident communicating with both clients and candidates, particularly over the phone.
- Is organised, proactive and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Can think on their feet and remain calm when priorities change.
- Is flexible around working hours when required.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has their own vehicle.
Previous recruitment or hospitality experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Candidates from sales, account management or other target-driven backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
Hours & Hybrid Working
The role is predominantly Monday to Friday and offers hybrid working, with a minimum of 1–2 days per week in our Liscard, Wirral office, depending on business needs.
Due to the nature of temporary hospitality recruitment, some weekend work and later evenings will be required, particularly for event check-ins and urgent staffing requirements. Flexibility is therefore essential.
Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) is provided for additional hours worked due to business needs.
