Are you looking for a job where your efforts can make a real and positive difference to people in your local community?
The Sara Lee Trust provides essential care and support for people affected by cancer and other life threatening illnesses across Hastings and Rother. We are looking for individuals who, as well as having considerable expertise and experience in their field, share our aim of improving the lives of the many people affected by life threatening illness across the region.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our small but highly skilled and ambitious, flexible working team whose fundraising is critical to the care we provide. You’ll be working with our inspiring supporters and volunteers, building relationships and empowering people to bring all that they can to help us support the many people locally who need our care and support.
We are looking for an enthusiastic fundraiser who has experience of organising events and activities, delivering projects, and is confident in forming networks in the local community.
Successful candidates will have a proven track record in fundraising or strong evidence of transferable experience. You’ll have excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Based primarily at the Sara Lee Trust’s main offices, the role will require working at multiple locations across Hastings and Rother.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential as this role involves transporting fundraising materials/equipment for events.
