Duties:
- Perform various carpentry tasks, working with various materials and finishes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the project.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Install structures and fixtures such as doors, cabinets, hardware and AV equipment.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Inspect work to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong knowledge of different carpentry techniques and methods.
- Ability to read plans and technical drawings.
- Good understanding of maths and measurements.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labour.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: £20.00-£22.50 per hour
