Mr Lawn is a fast‑growing, premium lawn‑care company serving the Surrey Hills area. We specialise in high‑quality lawn treatments, renovations, and customer‑focused service. With hotter, drier summers and increasing demand for reliable watering solutions, we’re expanding into domestic irrigation installation and maintenance — and we’re looking for a skilled specialist to lead this area.
Role Overview
We’re seeking an motivated person who has experience in domestic irrigation to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair domestic lawn irrigation systems. You’ll work directly with homeowners, ensuring their lawns receive consistent, efficient water coverage through professionally designed and maintained systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install new domestic lawn irrigation systems (pop‑ups, rotors, MP rotators, dripline)
- Diagnose faults, leaks, pressure issues, and coverage problems
- Replace sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, solenoids, and pipework
- Carry out seasonal servicing (spring start‑ups, winter shut‑downs)
- Advise clients on system upgrades, water efficiency, and coverage improvements
- Work alongside the Mr Lawn team to integrate irrigation with lawn‑care plans
- Maintain accurate job notes, photos, and customer communication
- Uphold Mr Lawn’s high standards of professionalism and customer care
Requirements
- Proven experience in irrigation installation and repair (domestic or commercial)
- Strong understanding of water pressure, flow rates, zones, and coverage mapping
- Ability to diagnose issues quickly and confidently
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with Hunter, Rain Bird
- Basic plumbing knowledge
- Experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture
- Ability to quote small works and upgrades
