Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
- Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns promptly to senior staff or On site Registered Manager
- Uphold health and safety standards by adhering to policies, assisting with risk assessments, and ensuring a clean environment
Skills
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
- Ability to understand and follow detailed care plans effectively
- Proficiency with IT systems used for record keeping and communication within healthcare settings
- Strong communication skills in English to interact empathetically with clients, families, and team members
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with diverse individuals
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment
