School Cleaner

We are looking for reliable and hardworking School Cleaners to join our team, with positions starting when schools reopen in September 2026.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for regular cleaning work, with the added benefit of being able to pick up additional hours during the daytime and throughout the week when available.
The Role
As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across school premises, helping to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Dusting and wiping down surfaces
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Cleaning and maintaining a high standard of hygiene throughout the school
- Following health and safety and cleaning procedures
- Reporting any maintenance or cleaning issues to your supervisor
- Working as part of a team to ensure the school is cleaned to a high standard

- Friendly and professional
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided
- DBS checked or willing to have a DBS check completed
- Able to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness
Transport
Having your own transport is ideal but not essential.
We have company van drivers available, so transport can be arranged for cleaners where required. Please let us know when applying if you require transport to and from sites.
Hours & Additional Work
Our main requirement is for cleaners to start when schools reopen in September 2026.
There is also the opportunity to pick up additional cleaning hours throughout the day and during the week, depending on availability and workload. This makes the role particularly suitable for anyone looking for additional income or flexible working hours.
DBS
Due to the nature of the work, successful applicants will need to hold a valid DBS check, or be happy for us to arrange one on their behalf.
