Position: Mobile Catering Manager
Contract Type: Permanent, part time (43.244 weeks per annum)
Hours: 25 Hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, flexible times between 08:00 - 16:30
Salary: £14.22 per Hour, plus paid mileage
Location: Various sites across Halton
Job Introduction
As a Mobile Catering Manager in LLG school sites you’ll be quality-focused and be able to work on your own initiative. You will travel to, and work from, any of the kitchens in your area as and when support is requested and required throughout the day. You will be using your own vehicle and travel time is paid. These requests may be made with very short notice, so flexibility is key. Your passion for food service and personal excellence will ensure a quality food service is delivered at all levels.

What you’ll do:
- Prepare, cook and serve food and drink in a hygienic and safe manner, following assigned processes and procedures at all times
- Monitoring the quality of the food and service provided, achieving good quality product and service on time and within budget
- Be punctual with your time-keeping; operating a quick and efficient catering service without compromising on quality of the service delivered
- Monitor and advise on stock usage; rotating stock, ensuring food stocks don’t run out and ordering stock as required
- Ensure that catering preparation, service and storage areas are kept in a hygienic, clean, tidy and safe condition at all times
- Take the lead in running a kitchen as and when requested to do so by the business
Requirements
- A valid driving licence is essential to the role. You should have a Level 2 (or higher) Food Hygiene certification and also have 2+ years of experience of catering/kitchen environments and for high volumes.
- IT systems and Microsoft package experience would be advantageous.
Additional Information
Due to the nature of the site an Enhanced DBS check will be required and paid for by the Company.
