HGV Driver / Warehouse Operative
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Operative / HGV Driver with a valid driving licence to join our diverse Warehouse & Logistics Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with driving experience who prefer to spend less time on the road and focus more on warehouse tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting goods between our facilities (each trip is less than 200 meters), totalling approximately 2 hours of driving per day. This is shared with another driver.
- Performing general warehouse duties, including:
o Receiving goods
o Picking and packing items
o Preparing goods for dispatch
o Assist with monthly stocktake
o Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
Requirements:
- ESSENTIAL:
o A full, valid driving licence (Category C or equivalent).
o Prior driving experience; however, this role is perfect for those looking to reduce their time spent on the road
- DESIRED:
o Forklift experience for both counterbalance and flexi
o Experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided.
