Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tyre Fitter / Wheel Aligner to join our automotive service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting tyres, performing wheel alignments, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Remove and replace tyres using appropriate hand and power tools
- Carry out wheel alignments to manufacturer specifications, ensuring optimal vehicle handling and safety
- Inspect tyres and wheels for damage or wear, advising customers on necessary repairs or replacements
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on vehicles, including balancing wheels and checking tyre pressure
- Utilise specialised equipment to ensure precise wheel alignment and positioning
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining work carried out and addressing customer queries effectively
- Assist in the maintenance of workshop tools and machinery, ensuring they are in good working order
Experience
- A minimum of 1 years tyre fitting experience
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and tyre fitting equipment is advantageous
- Previous experience with wheel alignment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including manoeuvring tyres and wheels of varying sizes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Good customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients

Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30
Saturday 08:30-12:30
Pay: £31,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
