Job Summary
We are seeking two skilled and enthusiastic Part Time Bar Person to join our team, 15 - 17 hours per week. Tuesday to Sunday fixed shift pattern. The ideal Candidate will over 25 years (for Insurance purposes) and have experience of bar and cellar management.
As a Bar Person in our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring that our patrons have an enjoyable experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bar area.
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain an organised bar area, including restocking supplies
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and special promotions to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bartending and hospitality role is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary skills is essential.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanour with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
- Must live within 4 miles of Henley on Thames, Drive and have use of a car.
