HR Administrator
Salary: £28,000 per annum + performance bonus of up to £150 per month
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused HR Administrator to join our growing HR team, working directly alongside the Head of HR.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HR administration experience who is looking to develop a long-term career in Human Resources. You will gain valuable hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, employment law, compliance and organisational change.
This role has a clear progression pathway into an HR Advisor position, with ongoing mentoring, training and support towards further professional qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare contracts of employment, offer letters, contractual amendments and other employment documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company policies.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and pre-employment screening.
- Provide first-line HR support to managers and employees on routine HR policies and procedures.
- Support the Head of HR with employee relations matters, including preparing documentation for disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management meetings.
- Attend employee relations meetings to take accurate and confidential notes where required.
- Monitor probation review periods, maintain HR records and reports, and provide general HR administrative support to managers.
- Manage SIA licence administration and support NSI compliance requirements.
- Produce regular HR reports and management information to support business decision- making.
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
About You
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent qualification, with a willingness to progress to CIPD Level 5 qualification.
- Previous experience within an HR Administration, HR Support role or similar role.
- A good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- An interest in developing a career in employee relations and generalist HR.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Able to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
