Responsibilities
- Greet and manage access for all visitors, staff, contractors, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises and identify potential security threats
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary
- Enforce entry policies and ensure only authorized individuals gain access to restricted areas
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing basic first aid when required
- Maintain accurate logs of shift activities, incidents, and access records for accountability and reporting purposes
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue to verify security integrity, check fences, doors, and other entry points
Experience
- Previous experience in security or a related role is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention practices is preferred
- Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and calm in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and visitors
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is required to perform door supervision duties
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures enhances your ability to respond confidently during emergencies
Pay: £12.71-£17.54 per hour
