Due to increased workload, our client is looking to recruit an Assembly Manufacturing Operative to join their busy production team. This is a temporary opportunity starting on 3rd August and running until September.
This is a hands-on assembly role within a manufacturing environment, where you'll be responsible for assembling high-quality products using hand tools while following engineering drawings and work instructions. The role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, has excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality workmanship.
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is desirable
Duties will include:
- Assembling products and components to specification.
- Following engineering drawings, specification sheets, and work instructions.
- Using a variety of hand tools to complete assembly tasks.
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process.
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
- Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is advantageous.
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Hours of Work:
- Day shifts
- Monday to Friday
