Are seeking to recruit a professional Business Administrator to be based at our head office premises in Welshpool
This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave for a fixed term period of 6 months
(Full Time 37 hours per week although part time hours would be considered)
Salary Scale: £25,877.80 per annum

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking to recruit a highly skilled Business Administrator to provide a high standard of assurance and administrative support to enable the processing of our internal documents. A well organised individual with good communication and IT skills, having a confident approach to working on different bespoke software platforms. An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team with attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines with a flexible manner.
Responsibilities:
· Conducts routine quality assurance checks and accurately records results in accordance with established procedures
· Proactively follows and supports documented procedures, helping ensure efficiency and consistency.
· Identifies errors, inconsistencies, and potential breaches promptly, escalating issues appropriately
· Support data validation, audit preparation, and compliance evidence gathering
· Demonstrates attention to detail by maintaining accurate records, reports, and supporting documentation
· Assists colleagues and stakeholders with day-to-day queries, ensuring prompt and helpful resolutions
· Contributes to continuous improvement efforts by identifying and highlighting recurring issues and process inefficiencies.
· Coordinating and liaising with the relevant individuals and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and operational delivery units
· To work with other colleagues and operational delivery unit/s continuously improve quality and compliance.
· Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely information is shared with the e-learning platform
· To work closely with CTC staff developing knowledge and understanding alongside early intervention that prevent the smooth processing of learner data.
· Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all systems used by CTC
· Complete general administration duties to support the administration department as and when required such as answering incoming calls, taking messages, redirecting calls, welcoming visitors and ordering stationary.
· Provide cover for any absence as and when required as caseload dictates
· Any other duties requested by the Data Governance and Compliance HBU.

· Resolve routine problems that arise, seeking support and guidance from the line manager as required and show a positive response to problem solving.
· Ensure all data processing and administration functions are carried out in line with the Company’s ISMS policies and procedures
· To comply with the Company’s Safeguarding policies at all times
· To comply with the Company’s Equality policies and legislation
· To support the organisations core values
· Attend any relevant training / personal development programmes

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
· Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively by telephone
· Administrative qualification, equivalent experience, or a commitment to professional development in this area
· Continuous development and assessment against the professional standards
· The ability to work autonomously and also effectively with others as a competent team member.
· Excellent computer literacy skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· The ability to work to tight deadlines
· Strong organisational skills
· Flexibility, confidentiality and tact. Good listening skills essential
