London Roof Gardens is a specialist roofing and roof terrace company transforming unused flat roofs into beautiful, functional outdoor living spaces. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and hardworking Carpenter/Decking Installer to join our team on a full-time basis.
The Role
You will be involved in all aspects of roof terrace and construction projects, including:
- Constructing timber and aluminium decking subframes
- Installing Millboard decking and associated finishes
- Fitting doors, frames and ironmongery
- Ply boarding roofs and preparing surfaces for waterproofing
- Building planters, seating areas and bespoke timber features
- General carpentry and building works
- Assisting with the conversion of flat roofs into high-quality usable spaces
- Working safely at height and maintaining high standards of workmanship
Requirements
- Proven carpentry experience
- Experience installing decking systems (Millboard experience preferred but not essential)
- Ability to read drawings and work independently
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- CSCS card preferred
- Reliable, punctual and professional
