Contract Labour Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Banksman to work with our client who is an established construction company that specialises in the civils sector, with work taking place in the Bishop Auckland area.
Pay: £20ph
Duration: 1 Month
Role: Candidates will be completing the following tasks.
- Safely direct and marshal vehicles entering, leaving and moving around site.
- Assist delivery drivers with safe access and positioning.
- Maintain clear communication with drivers, site management and other workers.
- Help manage pedestrian and vehicle movements.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment.
- Carry out other banksman duties as required by the Site Manager.
Requirements: Candidates will need to show the following.
- Valid Banksman / Vehicle Marshal qualification.
- Relevant site experience.
- CSCS card where required.
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Previous experience working on a medical, hospital or live-site environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work around members of the public, patients and medical staff with discretion and professionalism.
