WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Take full ownership of product briefs, developing a deep understanding of the commercial and creative requirements before independently executing shoots to capture the necessary assets in the studio or out on location.
- Capture high-quality, practical product imagery across our extensive portfolio of sports equipment, ensuring products are represented accurately while highlighting key features and textures.
- Travel frequently to local sites and further afield, driving company vans and managing the logistics of transporting large, heavy sports products for location setups.
- Collaborate closely with our video team and internal stakeholders to organise, set up, and execute dynamic product and marketing shoots on location.
- Produce precisely lit, high-quality raw photography assets and base plates intended strictly for hand-off to our in-house image editing team, who will utilise these for standard retouching and AI-assisted generation.
- Set up and maintain consistent lighting, composition, and styling across both controlled studio environments and unpredictable outdoor locations.
- Manage all photography equipment across studio and location shoots, ensuring gear is maintained, organised, safely loaded into vehicles, and ready for use.
- Work flexibly, including frequent weekend work and varied hours, to accommodate location availability and dynamic shoot schedules.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- A strong photography portfolio showcasing a range of practical product, commercial, or location photography.
- A valid UK driving licence with the confidence and willingness to frequently drive company vans to and from locations.
- The physical capability and willingness to safely lift, load, and manoeuvre large sports equipment and heavy photography gear on a regular basis.
- Confident hands-on experience using DSLR/mirrorless camera systems and adapting lighting setups (strobes and continuous) for both studio and outdoor environments.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with excellent organisational skills to interpret briefs and coordinate moving parts on location alongside the video team.
- Complete flexibility and willingness to travel and work weekends as the shooting schedule demands.
- A clear understanding of how to shoot practical assets effectively for post-production hand-off.
