We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials before appointments
- Sterilise and maintain dental equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
- Provide patients with post-treatment advice and instructions, ensuring they are well-informed about their oral health
- Support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, updating patient records, and managing clinical supplies
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe clinical environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have in a professional manner
Requirements
- Previous experience or training in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic IT skills for updating patient records and handling administrative duties
- Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and empathy at all times
- Flexibility to work part-time hours that fit around personal commitments while maintaining reliability and punctuality
You will be required to be computer literate and a team player. GDC Registration paid and Agillio CPD Provided.
Salary will be dependant on years of experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £14.50 per hour depending on experience
Schedule:
- Covering Shifts Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday mornings this will be paid overtime.

- Valid GDC registration (required)
