Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to our breakfast meals success. You will be working from 7am to 10:30am Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the Head Chef.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout the shift.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen environment.
- Certificate in Food Hygiene Level 2 is required.
- Allergen certificate required.
