Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a small school, Your proactive approach and commitment to quality will ensure our clients’ environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in commercial settings, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health standards
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed within designated timeframes
- Support team members with additional cleaning tasks as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Hours are Monday to Friday 6pm to 8.30 pm, this is a term time position, successful applicants must be pvg checked and an offer of employment will only be made subject to it being clear.
