Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical experience and be capable of performing a variety of electrical tasks across mainly domestic and commercial settings. Duties
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with current regulations and safety standards.
- Diagnosing electrical faults using hand tools and power tools, then executing effective solutions promptly.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to carry out installations or repairs accurately.
- Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate, ensuring ongoing safety compliance.
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and organised following health and safety protocols.
- Assisting with the testing of electrical systems to verify proper operation post-installation or repair.
Experience
- Proven electrical experience within a commercial or industrial environment is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and multimeters is required.
- Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of current electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations is vital for ensuring compliance.
- Prior experience reading technical drawings and schematics will be advantageous.
- A recognised qualification in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) is preferred but not mandatory for highly experienced candidates.

Must have own transport to get back and forth from jobs £50 weekly allowance will be given to subcontractors towards transport
Pay: £180.00-£300.00 per day
