Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (some flexibility required)

About the Role
Hydrosphere Innovations Ltd is looking for a hands-on, practical, and reliable person to join our small and friendly team as a Service & Equipment Technician.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in a varied technical role. You’ll help to maintain and prepare equipment, manage stock and supplies, and support the day-to-day running of our water treatment equipment rental business.
Full training is provided – including safe use of tools, equipment servicing, and even forklift training if needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with servicing and preparing equipment (training provided)
- Use and maintain hand tools and workshop machinery
- Monitor and manage stock, tools, and consumables
- Communicate with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and drivers
- Help meet team goals and deadlines
- Keep the workspace clean, safe, and organised
- Suggest ways to improve how we work
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work
- Comfortable using tools or keen to learn
- Reliable, organised, and detail-focused
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, problem-solving attitude
- Able to carry out manual tasks, including some heavy lifting
- Computer literate
- Must have a full, clean UK driving licence (may be asked to drive a van or use pallet/forklift equipment)
Mechanical or electrical knowledge is helpful but not essential – training will be given.
