What you’ll be serving up…
As a Casual Chef you will have plenty of responsibility and opportunity to grow in your role, becoming a critical member of our team.
- Prepare, cook and present food to the required standard
- Follow menus, recipes, portion controls and allergen procedures
- Ensure the kitchen and service area are always clean, well-presented, and well-stocked
- Complete food safety checks, including temperature records, labelling and date rotation
- Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and storage
- Offer a warm and friendly service
- Support functions, events and busy service periods as required
- Ensure COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety are followed
- Work positively with colleagues and provide a professional service to customers

- Possess a passion for food
- Previous kitchen or chef experience preferred
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe working practices
- Focused on the front line
- Genuine interest in customer service excellence
- Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work well during busy periods
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Professional approach to customers and colleagues
- Team player
