We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Assistant Finance Manager to join the D3 Crew team on a full-time basis. This is a busy and varied role sitting at the heart of the business, responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of finance that keep D3 Crew running smoothly.
You will work closely with different business centres and client head office finance teams, handling everything from day-to-day financial operations through to reporting and cashflow management. This role requires someone who is technically strong and who can bring clarity and confidence to financial matters across the business.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and management of monthly management accounts alongside our accountants
- Running and managing the profit and loss (P&L) account
- Cashflow management and forecasting
- Bank reconciliations and processing bank payments
- Journals and month-end close processes
- Managing and overseeing invoicing processes
- Liaising with different business centres and client head office finance teams for approvals and invoicing
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Supporting the wider business with financial reporting and ad hoc analysis as required
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports to support organisational decision-making.
- Support financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Experience in management accounts
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex spreadsheets
- Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders on finance approvals and invoicing
- Strong accuracy and meticulous attention to detail — essential in this role
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise across all levels of the businessProven experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles within a corporate environment.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA are preferred but not essential. This role is ideal for a dedicated finance professional seeking to advance their career within a supportive organisation that values expertise, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in running payroll would be an advantage
Pay: £31,896.91-£40,000.00 per year
