Sales Operations Coordinator Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Operations Coordinator to provide vital operational and administrative support to our specialist sales team. This role plays a key part in driving sales efficiency, ensuring seamless coordination of customer enquiries, quotations, supplier interactions, and order fulfilment activities.
Working closely with sales representatives, engineers, suppliers, and internal departments, you will help maintain the smooth running of day-to-day sales operations while delivering an excellent customer experience. Full training will be provided to support the successful candidate in developing the necessary product knowledge and system expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage diaries for sales representatives, engineers, and delivery teams, ensuring efficient scheduling of appointments, meetings, installations, and follow-up activities.
- Prepare, process, and issue accurate customer quotations in line with pricing policies and commercial requirements.
- Maintain and update CRM systems, ensuring customer, prospect, and sales data remains accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Support lead management activities by following up on inbound and outbound enquiries and assisting with sales pipeline progression.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, confirm product availability, and monitor delivery schedules.
- Raise and manage purchase and stock orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
- Track customer orders from quotation through to delivery, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact timescales or customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain sales documentation, reports, and operational records to support business performance and decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and smooth execution of customer orders and projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes, systems, and administrative procedures.

- Competent user of CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a sales support, sales operations, customer service, or commercial administration role.
- Experience working with suppliers, purchasing processes, stock control, or order management.
