Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Civil Engineering Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers valuable hands-on experience in land surveying and civil engineering projects. Duties
- Assist with land surveying activities, including setting out and measuring sites using specialised equipment.
- Support the collection and management of survey data, ensuring accuracy and organisation.
- Use CAD software to prepare drawings, plans, and detailed survey layouts under supervision.
- Contribute to the utilisation of software tools such as NRG and AutoCad for spatial data analysis and mapping.
- Help maintain comprehensive records of survey data, project documentation, and site information.
- Collaborate with project teams to support construction activities by providing precise measurements and site information.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and safety assessments as required.
- Support the organisation of survey schedules and coordinate with other construction professionals.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of Maths
- Strong organisational skills for effective data management and record keeping.
- Some construction experience or understanding of construction processes is advantageous.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
