## Job Overview
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in various accounting software and a strong background in financial services.
You will be required to assist with Management Accounts process including account reconciliations. To carry out periodic and ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks, maintaining service continuity and assist, where appropriate, in providing an efficient and effective financial and administrative service to the company.
General Duties:
- To deal with the day to day processing of supplier invoices and credit notes.
- To complete creditor runs, make payments and reconcile supplier statements/accounts in accordance with the Company’s procedures.
- Maintain filing systems, including establishment of new files.
- Ensure that payment documentation is filed in a manner to facilitate ease of audit trail and assist with archiving data, electronically or otherwise.
- Deal with internal and external mail on a rotational basis.
- Participate in the appraisal process currently in place and to participate in training and development activities identified as a result of that process.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Assist with the development of General Office systems and processes.
- Provide cover with the emphasis on maintaining service continuity, to include reception duties.
- Undertake any other tasks commensurate with the grading of the post.
