We are seeking a person with a keen sense of duty and professionalism , who is organised and experienced, to join our private dental practice in Oakdale NP12.
The successful candidate will join our team of experienced nursing staff and clinicians , providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a welcoming environment providing private dentistry. Where attention to detail and strong communication skills are highly valued
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Maintain your nursing requirements in line with GDC regulations
- Manage decontaminations of instruments and correct storage
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the practice management system
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, data entry, and processing payments
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Ensure the safe transport of all lab work to external labs and its safe receipt on return to the practice
About you:
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous nursing experience within a dental environment and works well individually and as part of a busy team
- Administrative experience demonstrating organisation and multitasking skills is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills , communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using office software such as MSWord& Excel or similar programmes
- Experience in using Exact and Dentally dental software
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Pay: £14.00-£15.50 per hour
