About the Role
As a Production Operator within the Die Cast department, you'll help manufacture high-quality aluminium components while working as part of an experienced production team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating die casting machinery safely and efficiently
- Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet specification
- Recording production information, including output and downtime
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Following company procedures and health & safety standards at all times
- Manual handling of components weighing approximately 10–20kg
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are:
- Reliable with an excellent work ethic
- Safety conscious and quality focused
- Comfortable working rotating shifts
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties
No previous die casting experience is required as full training will be provided.
Previous experience within manufacturing, production, factory work or machine operating would be highly desirable.
Shift Pattern
This position operates on a rotating shift pattern:
Days
Monday–Thursday: 7:00am – 3:15pm
Friday: 6:00am – 1:30pm
Evenings
Monday–Thursday: 3:00pm – 11:15pm
Friday: 1:00pm – 8:30pm
Nights
Sunday–Wednesday: 11:00pm – 7:15am
Thursday: 11:00pm – 6:30am
