Project: New Build Residential Development

We are looking for experienced Electricians to join our team on a new build residential development in London, specifically carrying out the second fix electrical works within apartment utility cupboards.
The successful electricians will be responsible for completing the utility cupboard installation to a high standard, working from drawings and project specifications and coordinating with other site trades.
Utility Cupboard Scope of Works
The role will include:
- Positioning and neatly coiling cables within the utility cupboard ready for final connection.
- Installing Dado trunking.
- Installing consumer units.
- Installing meter boards, Red Heads and isolators.
- Installing and terminating tails from the meter equipment into the distribution board.
- Glanding and terminating the apartment SWA into the Red Head.
- Completing second fix of sockets and spurs.
- Second fixing and connecting consumer units.
- Completing cable glanding and terminations as required.
- Neatly coiling and positioning HIU, thermostat and M-Bus cables in the coupler at the end of the Dado trunking.
- Installing high-level smoke detectors onto/adjacent to the Dado trunking as specified.
- Installing 10mm bonding to pipework, subject to final project requirements/review.
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical installation experience.
- Previous experience working on new build residential developments.
- Experience with consumer units, meter equipment, SWA glanding and terminations.
- Competent with first and second fix electrical installation.
- Able to read and work from electrical drawings.
- Good knowledge of current electrical regulations and safe working practices.
- ECS/JIB card preferred.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work to programme deadlines.
- High standard of workmanship, particularly with neat and organised utility cupboard installations.
